PROCESS
“The process Jill uses to paint in acrylic and oil has been greatly influenced by her early years as a watercolor artist. Jill gradually builds up layers of paint in order to capture an illuminating glow. If there's just a hint of light in the room, her artwork emits a warm, inviting ambiance, beckoning the viewer to be drawn in.
Ten years ago, Jill developed a technique to create and apply rich texture with her palette knife. She uses this process on her aspen and birch tree paintings. Jill is also known to render her still-life, and landscape paintings with nothing but a palette knife, and richly textured paint. Jill is elated when her clients tell her that they feel as though they can just walk into one of her landscapes, or reach out and pluck a petal from one of her florals!
Jill's paints the sides of her wide bordered canvas as a continuation of the front. This eliminates the need for a frame. It's a contemporary and clean look that Jill's patrons have loved for years.
Jill plans and lays out her color palette before painting. This assures her work to be orchestrated like a fine tuned symphony. Jill's knowledge of color theory is vast. She finds it fascinating to see how the right choice of colors can cause a symbiotic dance of light and color, bringing her subjects to life.
PURCHASE
When you choose your original, we'll process your credit card and send you a receipt via email. We accept all major credit cards. If you need a painting shipped to you, we'll use UPS to insure, pack and ship.
You will receive a signed "Certificate Of Authenticity" that includes a complete description of your painting. Jill will personally follow up with you on the expected day of delivery. She wants to be sure that your painting arrives in excellent condition, and that you're happy with your acquisition.
