Tuition and Art Class Policies
You may start a class when there is an opening during that time slot. I work on a first come, first serve basis. If there isn’t an opening in the time slot of your choice, I will be happy to put you on a waiting list.
I teach drawing, acrylic, watercolor, and oil in every class. Within each of those mediums, I teach design, composition and color theory. All of the mediums are taught in every class. I have couples, adults, teens, and friends who take classes together. Each student can work on their own thing and still be in the class with another family member or friend. As a student, I will help you with where you are at in your own medium. You will learn to develop your own style.
My goal is to help you meet your artistic goals in a fun, friendly, and professional environment. Please read my procedure, payment, and attendance policy carefully. If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to answer them.
TUITION
Tuition for lessons is $120.00 per month if there are four weeks in a month, $90.00 per month if there are three weeks in a month, and $150.00 per month if there are five week in a month. Tuition is due on the last day of the month for the following month. The price structure breaks down to $30.00 a class.
MISSED CLASSES
At no extra charge, I've added an extra half hour to each class. At the end of every month, you will have accrued the equivalent of a free class. Some students haven't missed one class in a years time. They have acquired twelve free classes! If you have to miss a class, it more than evens out from the extra time that you're here. The extra half hour does add up and this is my solution for when you have to miss.
If for any reason I need to cancel a class, I will either refund you for that class or credit you for the next month, whichever you prefer.
WHEN YOU ARE SICK
When you're sick, please don't come to class. I have other students who have health conditions that are compromised by being ill. Thanks!
CELL PHONES
Please put your cell phone on the vibrate mode. If you need to talk, please take the call into the other room. And, please save your texting for outside the class.
