Three aspen trees stand tall and slender, exuding an air of mystery. Their trunks reflect the light in a shimmering dance that hints at early autumn. The trees, closely grouped, yet distinct in their individual forms, create a harmonious rhythm. Their branches reaching out like graceful arms, remind me of the bible verse, "A threefold cord is not easily broken." I found these trees on Snowmass Mountain and knew I had to paint them.
This 10"x8" oil painting, "Threefold Cord" on an archival panel, is available on my website. Thanks for viewing - Jill Saur
