My watercolor painting of an abandoned boat on Seabird Key captures a tranquil moment where nature and solitude converge. The boat, pulled up on shore, rests on grass and coral stones. The inside of the boat reflects the hues of the sky above—soft blues and muted greys. Mangroves and lush greenery frame the scene, offering a sense of seclusion and peace. Tom and I (and of course, Jack) have finally made our move to beautiful Lakewood Ranch, Florida, just east of Sarasota.  Were close to family and getting settled in our new home.  I took this photo the other night in our neighborhood.  Every day is a new adventure and every sunrise and sunset is a thrill to watch.  The skies here are magnificent and I look forward to seeing what impact this will have on my painting.
